Hello, everyone! In this post, I want to outline a starting point and roadmap for self-growth in the realm of full-stack development for the upcoming year.

Dictidex

The biggest challenge ahead is the completion and launch of the Dictidex application—an all-in-one, cross-platform dictionary designed for collecting and learning English words.

The multi-platform approach includes a web application (built with React/Redux/Next.js), a Chrome extension, and mobile applications for both Android and iOS (developed using React Native).

The word-learning experience will be interactive and engaging, offering memory games similar to word cards or the game Wordle.

I am personally responsible for all aspects of development, analytics, application architecture, and UX/UI design. It’s a formidable challenge, but I’m confident that I can overcome it 🦖.

Self-growth

I believe that self-development and expanding one’s horizons are essential aspects of every individual’s life. Most of our time is spent working, and our hobbies play a significant role as well. So, doing something you enjoy and turning it into a profession is a harmonious blend.

My primary self-improvement goals are as follows:

1. Develop a blog and maintain an active online presence to share my experiences with others.
2. Enhance my English proficiency through extensive speaking practice.
3. Complete several courses that I’ve purchased but, for some inexplicable reason, left unfinished. Among the most exciting ones are the Three.js journey and CSS for JavaScript Developers.
4. Cultivate an eye for design and further improve my skills in UX/UI.

I’ll document my progress towards these goals on my blog, and I’ll be sure to share anything interesting I come across.
